So..part of my passion for cooking is being creative, taking risks and having some (hopefully) surprisingly delicious result. So my suggestion will also be a “dare”. Let’s get things mixing with our cultural background! How about you come up with some Brigadeiro cookies? Or some “Snickers” (or other American candy) Pave? 🙂
That’s a really cool idea, Tia – I’ll definitely bake something like that soon!
Hi Bequiita, here is Vovo writing back to you, Marcia just showed me your blog and I was really very well impressed not only with the simple and funny way you write, but with the nice pictures printed. No one can ever imagine you are just eleven years old. Amazing was that I had the same idea about brazilian sweets and others, but my concern was with translating the recipes into portuguese, the way that your relatives there (Ana, Marina, Margarete and friends) could take a risk with them.
How about a princess cake? ; )
Becca – you have a wonderful voice! I personally love anything chocolate and the darker chocolate the better. I recently made a Guiness Chocoloate cake with cream cheese frosting and that was quite a hit (yes it had Guiness beer in it, which might sound gross but lent the cake a really rich taste).
I love your blog Becca! Life is too important to be taken seriously!
